Hi and Welcome back to my Blog.

The Stamp set - Timeless Textures is becoming a Favourite of mine and very quickly I might add. It is the perfect Stamp Set to make umpteen backgrounds for your cards; whether you are going the Monochromatic look or as Bright as bright can be, this is the stamp set .
Unfortunately I needed to make a Sympathy card for a wonderful friend who had lost his father suddenly. I wanted it to look Masculine, with a Vintage Feel, Elegant, to represent the man and the Beach that was so important to him without that typical  beach look, to have movement,  Bling but not feminine at all, A straight up Sentiment and of course a Butterfly.
Inside the Card I wanted the theme of the image to carry on, as my Verse I Laser Printed in the card was also Gold Heat Foiled with a Laminator,

So this is what I came up with. I am very impressed with the Result.

Again I have Stamped onto the Envelope to Complete the Look

Hello and Welcome to my Blog

I have THREE Cards for this Blog, that will be displayed below. I decided to stop Over Thinking everything and just get on and make a Card. Well I got a brain storm and in stead of asking myself tens of questions I just took out the pack of Playful Palette DSP flicked the paper as fanning it and where it opened, that was the paper I would use.
Next for the Die Cutting, since the new Annual Stampin' Up !® Catalogue was released June 2016 I have bought a few Bundles so I decided there and then it was to be the Flourishing Phrases (CM) Stamp Set and the Flourish Thinlets Bundle to be used.
The result was amazing with multi coloured and a multi pattern Flourish Die Cut, totally out of my square and I was happy with the look too. With one of the cards having the Timeless Textures Stamp Set as a Background with coordinating colours to match the Playful Palette DSP.

Adding different Embellishments the #1 Card and #2 Card are similar but then they have totally diff…

Hi and Welcome back to my Blog

We Card-makers know not to throw Scraps out; if there is a possible chance we can squeeze something else out of that piece of Designer Series Paper (DSP) or Cardstock.

I Still have to Blog 3 of the 4 cards that I made, in order to have the Scrap Leftovers to make these Quick and Easy cards. ( They will be Blogged Shortly)

It is a great feeling that you can whip up a card or two in less than half the time it takes to make a Card with so much detail.

Here are two great examples of Cards made with left over pieces of DSP and were so quick and easy to make, and so much Fun too.

Hello and Welcome to my Blog Tonight's Kylie Bertucci's International Blog Hop to make aware that Depression, Anxiety and Other Mental Health Issues are really out there, it is not a myth it is real and it is a very scary Illness.

Why do I say this, easy as I have suffered with Depression to the point, I contemplated taking my own life. For someone who has never been in the situation, I can assure you it is not the easy way out, It means that person is at his or hers lowest of lows, and they are actually thinking more of their loved ones than themselves.
Committing suicide is certainly not for a coward, I am so glad that I thought about it long and hard I wrote everything down. The good the bad the ugly, the things that I can change, the things that might be able to be changed and the things that could not be changed.

You feel so lonely and alone even in  room that has 100 people in it. The painted faces to hide how you really feel, the lost of appetite and so on.

The scaries…

Country Livin' Stamp Set Woodlands Textured Impressions Embossing Folder and Flourishing Phrases Stamp Set

I decided I wanted to make a Masculine Card. A real Blokes Card, with NO ribbons, bows or obvious pretty bling, so I set about looking in the Stampin' Up! Annual Catalogue. I saw the Guy Greetings Stamp Set, but the images weren't big enough and even though my Hubby rides a Harley and a member of the NSW Chapter of the Veterans Motorcycle Club I realized that I couldn't use the New One Wild Ride Stamp Set even if I wanted to as I still haven't ordered it yet ooops.
Then I remembered I had bought the New Country Livin' Stamp Set and also have the Woodlands Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, which got me thinking "How do they make the Vehicles hide between the trees?".

I remember seeing a tutorial on You Tube at one time so I jumped onto You Tube, entered Woodland Embossing Folder Tutorial in the search bar and first up is a Tutorial with 'Frenchie' France Martin . Yeah!!! I think Frenchie is great, I love how she leaves all her stuff ups in her …

R.A.K. CARD - For RYDER ........ With Botanical Blooms and the Botanical Builder Framelits Dies Bundle

Hello and Welcome back to my Blog.

Today I am Blogging a R.A.K. Card; This stands for Random Act of Kindness. I was asked to make a card for a family who is going through a very worrying time with their 19 month old Son Ryder.

Ryder is a tough little Guy and has been through so much in his 19 months of life than most of us with ever go through. Ryder is fighting Cancer, this disease is more and more common as the years go on, but to think this darling little boy has had to endure physically is beyond any words I could possibly write.

His Mummy Samantha and Daddy Stephen are fighting alone side of Ryder with as much power and strength as possible. I don't know this little family personally but as a Mum myself, of two Adult children this story took me back to when I was 30 weeks gestation with my Son Reece, who is now 22 yrs of age I might add. Something went horribly wrong, out of the blue my baby was fighting for life inside of me, up until then I was very healthy and was enjoying my…
