    1. Rosalie, I used thin strips of Window Sheet, then bent them into a "L"shape added lots of Mini Glue Dots to the bottom of the "L"shape and stuck it on the bottom of the box. The Window Sheet Strip is glued in the middle of two Butterflies I made them double sided, I used Tombow to keep them together. The Large butterfly has the Window Sheet strip too but as it is so large I was able to use Mini Glue Dots to secure it to the cardstock board.

    1. Hello Gloria, Yes of course, I have entered all the information in regards to making this Explosion Card, I didn't realize it was so good, but I have had so many people asking for How Did You Do That, lol. I am completely shocked.

So I started with a 12x12 cardstock cut (2) @ 4"x 12"scored @ 4'and 8" to give me 3 4"x 4"squares. now glue the middle square of each together in the shape of a cross. The DSP was my creation. I went down 1/8" for each layered square. Dapper Blue, Flirty Flamingo then my design DsP. The Box Lid is just 4"x 4"square with 2"sides, So you need a simply cut and glue corners in to form the box, again 1/8" down for each layer to decorate. Obviously, I would decorate the top if I was to give it to someone. I hope this helps. :)

Sorry, I missed a part out for the lid. To make the lid you will start off with a 8 3/16"x 8 3/16" square cardstock score at 2"on all sides then cut to scoreline on the little squares, these are where you glue and fold into to form the corners of the box. This is called the One 1/16"Rule of Box Making by Catherine Pooler. Youtube tutorial

I do hope this helps, and please let me know how you went making your own Explosion Box. Happy Stamping Christine xoxo

    1. I have visited the Butterfly Sanctuary at Coffs Harbour, I walked in and I was swarmed by them, I had to laugh as the other people in there were getting upset they were all on me and not on them. I must have been a butterfly keeper in my last life. I believe they are Angels from Heaven.

    1. Hi, Tamie, Thank you I didn't think it was going to work as the Large butterfly is quite heavy once they are glued together., but will sticky glittery fingers later holding them gently together it worked. So glad too otherwise it would have ended up as a complete flop! :)
