Happy Friday - Start of the Weekend
Good Morning, everyone, It's such a beautiful morning here in Dapto, NSW, Australia where I live. We are in the season of Spring, the weather is nice and warm. Not hot as Summer gets, but at least we don't need to wear Jackets and Winter Woolies during the day.
Before I started blogging this morning I watched the birds dart in and out of the bear Jacaranda Tree.
When a Jacaranda Tree in Full Bloom, it gives good camouflage for the birds and when it drops it's Blue/Purple flowers it leaves a carpet of colour. These trees make for a beautiful place to sit on a hot sunny day as they give great shade coverage.

Here is my card for today quite striking as it is a Card with Trees.
I used the most oldest Stamp Set Stampin' Up!® still has as a Current Stamp. It is called Lovely as a Tree. You can design so many cards with this one stamp set and never get bored of using it.
I know it will never be out of my collection,
This Stamp was the very first Stampin' Up! Set I bought, I bought it in Wood Mount and once I had it, this made me become an Independent Demonstrator, I have never looked back, it is so much fun and I reap so many rewards it was and still is the best decision I have made for myself.
I love duo colouring the stamps, I first coloured the Tree Branches with Old Olive made sure I coloured it well going over the ink a few times as I used the Stampin' markers.
Next, I coloured in the trunks of the trees with Cajun Craze the same way when gave a might few big huffs onto the rubber stamp to activate the ink once more.
I like to hold my stamps firmly down onto the card keeping it still I find taking your time the ink transfers much better and there is no need for pressing so hard onto the Wood or Acrylic mount and definitely no rocking, as rocking smudges your image.
The sentiment is another old favourite of mine and that is Butterfly Basics
