Little Girls Name Hanging Plaque

Hey Everyone
Happy Monday morning, Wow, 2 October 2017 already. Here is Australia it is our Bank Holiday Long Weekend. I don't know about you but September seemed such a long month, busy but long.
I have so many family members including myself that celebrate our Birthdays I just didn't get all my cards made in time this year and had to post a Happy Birthday greeting on Facebook to wish them a Happy day and to let them know I loved them dearly.

As a card maker, I get busy too, so I will have to re-organise myself and think of a better scheduling plan for 2018, as it will soon be here.

One special birthday I didn't miss with Paper-craft Birthday Greeting, well it is more of a Keepsake. A card and a Gift together.

I will get my drift once you see the images below. there are a few different names to this technique, but I will just use the name "Eclipse" technique.

I have watched many fellow Stampin' Up!® Demonstrators from all over the world showing their way with the Eclipse technique and they turn out so beautiful. They Inspired me so much I went ahead, jumped out of my safe square, and made a Beautiful Name Plaque for my God Daughters, little Daughter Navarnah's 1st Birthday.

It was such a dream to make I know I will be making many more, in many designs in the future.
it is now proudly hung in her Nursery.

So, so simple to make, it just takes a little time. This is not exactly the "Eclipse" but I have versions like this. Here the Letters are raised quite high as there are 5 letter cut outs of each letter glued together before placing the Gold Foil letter onto of the 5 pile Thick Whisper White Cardstock. They become very firm and solid not flimsy at all.
Another technique you can clearly see it Heat Embossing Resist, I adore making anything with Heat Embossing so much fun, and magical watching the powder disappear and turn into this flowing liquid that instantly sets. It takes me back to my childhood, when I was wowed at all wonderful new things to learn, it's the same feeling every time I use the Embossing Powder and Heat Tool.
